The gastronomic part of CinEast 2010 was a great success, so this year we are pleased to bring you even more opportunities to explore the cuisines of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and this year also Bulgaria.

There will be two gastronomic evenings at the Brasserie Le Neumünster, on 12 and 18 October. The buffet-style dinner served from 19.00 will include dishes from all the countries taking part in the festival, and regional beers and wines will supplement the culinary delicacies. The price of the buffet is 25 euro per person (drinks not included). For reservations (advisable) please contact Brasserie Le Neumünster directly. Two local bands will contribute to the cosy atmosphere of the evening: on 12 October, Sound Massage with its repertoire of soul, pop and blues hits rearranged in a jazzy style (more info), and on 18 October, The Folkinators, a Dutch-Hungarian duo playing traditional American folk tunes as well as folk-based arrangements of songs from other genres, this time with a special guest (more info). A great opportunity to snack on some typical Bulgarian food and drinks will be a special evening "Welcome to Bulgaria" on 6 October at the Cinémathèque (from 20:30). Finally, some snacks and drinks will be available during the short films marathons (feature, documentary and animated) on 10, 13, 17 and 20 October at the Abbaye de Neumünster.
