"My name is Ki" is a touching picture of a single mother who loves her child, but at the same time wants to live a carefree and colourful life. She tries to divide the responsibility of raising her son among her friends, not hesitating at times to exploit or to manipulate them. Alternating between irritating, charming, aggressive and fragile, Ki leaves no-one indifferent. The meeting with Miko will be for her a tough experience, in which for the first time she seems to question herself.

"Ki escapes into a world, which is temporary and blown up, glittering, and which attracts her. Miko, whom she meets on the way, is like a polar opposite that she will never reach. Nonetheless, this pole is magnetizing and intriguing." (Leszek Dawid)
