Piroska is an overweight, alienated nurse who can't resist cream-filled pastries. She works in the terminal ward of a hospital and her life is surrounded by death. But an encounter with a dying patient brings her back to the traces of her own life, which she had long left aside... One day she sets off to find her long-lost childhood friend. While tracing her recollections, she embarks on a paradox-filled voyage within her own memory and the memory of those she encounters. Her searches do not take her where she wanted to go, yet her life will still never be the same as a result.
